'Keepsakes' was a joint-funded and run project working with Arts Partnership, Surrey Arts, Tandridge Trust, Surrey County Council and Runnymede where selected artists were invited to use reminiscence and memory to develop art works with people with dementia.

Sophie Artemis was selected top run a project working with over 55s in Surrey day centres making beautiful books.

Each session focused on developing a sense of well-being and independence through learning new skills in a sociable and affirming environment. Using 'memory boxes' for inspiration we explored different ways of making books to house our memories and precious things.
